DID YOU KNOW?

Most people in the UK die intestate (i.e. without a Will) – that’s almost 70% of the adult population! In fact most Wills are wholly inadequate and fail to protect against Inheritance Tax and Long Term Care issues.

The Probate Bureau ensures every one of its clients has a Will, fit for purpose, tax efficient and one that addresses all their concerns.

One in three women and one in four men will need to pay for care fees. These costs are usually paid by the proceeds of the sale of the family home.

The Probate Bureau’s legal and financial expertise is highly effective in addressing long term care issues and ensuring that the family home and assets pass to future generations. Some 70,000 homes were sold last year to pay for long term care fees!

The usual cost of administrating an estate by solicitors and banks is in excess of 3% of the total estate.

In contrast, The Probate Bureau’s charges are often less than half that of other professionals. In many cases probate can be avoided altogether if careful estate planning is managed effectively.

Many families have little experience of dealing with probate and the issues or implications surrounding a deceased person’s estate. The Probate Bureau is here to help, offering free impartial advice. We are just a phone call away and happy to work with you to help your families benefit from our many years of legal and financial experience. PROBATE FACTS

The Probate Bureau is committed to giving best advice when administering an estate. Since the credit crunch, we have found that over 90% of people we talk to are interested in ring-fencing their inheritance and/or assets, in order to avoid probate on their death. Probate takes time, costs money and is a hassle (in most cases), whether people deal with it themselves or instruct someone else to handle it on their behalf.

The Probate Bureau can help families avoid probate altogether as well as advising them on:

• Protecting against long term care fees

• Protecting against bankruptcy and divorce

• Helping to mitigate Inheritance Tax

• Protecting against marriage after death (MAD)

• Avoiding family disputes

Managing Director, David West, says “I’ve yet to meet a family that has not been affected by these issues.” With that in mind, it is a great benefit to all your families to be made aware of these pitfalls in a sensitive manner. The Probate Bureau is and will always be committed to looking after individual families and reduce the legal and financial burden.
